We offer private hire for Christmas parties, with two fantastic spaces to choose from. Our dining room can accommodate up to 60 guests (50 seated), providing a semi-private space that still captures the atmosphere of the main bar with full table service. For a more exclusive
gathering, our fully private lounge downstairs holds up to 50 guests (30 seated) and features comfy sofas, booths, and the option to control your own music.

The kitchen that feeds Borough High Street all year turns its hand to Christmas from November, and it does it properly. A festive three-course menu built around roasted turkey, smoked honey gammon, herb-crusted salmon, and a mushroom wellington that holds its own against the lot. Puddings range from Basque cheesecake with Cornish clotted cream to a decadent white chocolate and raspberry panna cotta and a classic sticky toffee pudding.

Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday from 11pm and Thursday to Saturday from 8:30pm, live music runs at St Christopher’s Pub. Six nights a week, without exception. Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday bring solo singers from 11pm; Wednesday adds karaoke from 8:30pm before the singer takes over. Thursday, Friday and Saturday run solo singers from 8:30pm. Every Friday and Saturday from 10pm, The BASSment Vinyl Club opens beneath St Christopher’s Pub for vinyl DJ nights spinning funk, disco, and timeless classics until 2am. While the pub above closes out the week with acoustic sessions from 8:30pm, the basement takes over from there with intimate seating, a full bar, and a vinyl DJ who knows the difference between background music and an actual set.
